David received his BA in History & Science, magna cum laude, from Harvard College and earned his MD and MPH from Harvard Medical School and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. During medical school, David published over 20 first-author publications in leading medical journals, wrote for Doximity as an OpMed Fellow, and interned at BlueCross BlueShield of Massachusetts. He also writes poetry and prose, having shared his work at venues such as the White House and the Aspen Ideas Festival. David joined Avoro in 2025 to focus on evaluating biotechnology investment opportunities.
